Kate Moennig joins the cast of a new very gay-friendly series Ray Donovan (Showtime) in which she will play a lesbian.

The shooting of the pilot will start in Spring so currently it is too early to know when it will be aired and if it will be developed in a series. We will of course keep you informed.

The series will tell the story of Ray Donovan, played by Liev Schreiber (Scream, X-Men), a professional trouble-shooter who is regularly called on to solve the complicated, confidential and controversial problems of L.A.’s elite. This one will be help by a 28-year-old lesbian woman who will be played by Kate and it seems that there will be some lesbian sex scenes.
