Dak' Art 2014: The Queer Part Was Cancelled

                                                                                                                                                                                                             Last month, we were rather glad for our African friends when we had announced the organization of an exhibition on the LGBT community in Senegal. Unfortunately, not only the exhibition was cancelled by the Senegalese government, but moreover, some fundamentalists vandalized it.

Diana Oh will be on a play entitled "The Feminism of a Soft Merlot or (How the Donkey Got Punched)" at the Tada Theater in New York from May 24th to June 22nd. 

Walls and rights 2

 

 

 

After a first edition in 2012 which aimed at promoting the equal rights for all the women whereas the presidential elections were going to take place, this year, and whereas France legalized the equal marriage and the adoption but refuses to give the right to insemination, the exhibition “Walls and Rights 2” is of return in Paris from May 8th to May 18th.

An exhibition on homosexuality in Africa will take place in a few days in Senegal.
