This weekend, the Italians were in the streets to show their support for the bill that would open civil unions to same-sex couples.
Even if there is a good chance that this bill be adopted as supported by the Prime Minister, LGBT activists fear the addition of amendments that could restrict their rights because the opposition, especially the Catholic Church, remains very strong in Italy.
Pending the vote, many other events are planned, both by supporters of the bill, but also by its opponents.
