Phylicia Rashad Is Back On Television In A Lesbian Role In The Series "For Justice"

The iconic actress of «The Cosby Show» Phylicia Rashad could make a comeback to television in a new series «For Justice» directed by Ava Duvernay in which she will play the role of a lesbian.

According to Variety, the project, based on James Patterson’s novel «The Thomas Berryman Number», follows a female FBI agent (Rashad) working in the Criminal Section of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division who finds herself caught between her radical real family and her professional family.

Rashad’s character is described has a savvy Washington player who has faced discrimination for her race and sexual orientation, and fights to protect the independence and integrity of her high-profile Civil Rights Division.
