This range is composed of 8 different teas: B!tch Please, Disco Ball, D.R.A.M.A Queen, F@g H@g, French Tickler, Pearl Necklace, Pinkies Up and Pride.
Dr. Matthew Hynd, Chief Tea Guru at SLURP, Australia's largest boutique destination for funky and trendy tea blends, said: "We chose this time of year to launch DiversiTEA because it’s Australia’s peak season for LGBTI people, with Mardi Gras events on throughout February and March, including the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade and Party on March 3.
"There’s also Brisbane’s Big Gay Day on Sunday, March 11, and a huge tradition of overseas tourists coming to Australia for Mardi Gras and travelling around Australia afterwards.
"So it’s a great time to expose ourselves to the LGBTI community, so to speak. And a refreshing, calming cup of tea is the perfect way to wind down after one too many big gay dance party."
He also added 20% of proceeds will go to LGBT health charities: "There’s no doubt that our community is very interested in health and wellbeing so it’s a natural market for us."
